Meet Dr. John W. Barone
Dr. Barone was born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island, where he attended high school at La Salle Academy. Dr. John Barone then pursued his passion for medicine at Tufts. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Boston College, he went on to graduate from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1983. He completed his training at this esteemed institution. Since then, Dr. Barone has been in the private practice of general dentistry in North Attleborough, Massachusetts. He is married and the father of three sons.

Dr. Barone belongs to various professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He has been chairman and served on numerous councils and committees for the Massachusetts Dental Society, as well as the Southeastern District Dental Society. Dr. Barone is also an affiliate member of the Rhode Island Dental Association.
Dr. Barone is a past president and has served as a director and committee member for the Downtown Associates of North Attleborough, as well as the North Attleborough/Plainville Rotary Club. He is also a member of the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America.

Janice Reeder – Registered Dental Hygienist
Janice began her career in the dental field in 1975. Her dedication to personalized dental care reflects our practice’s commitment to meeting the unique needs of each patient, a standard set by Dr. John Barone. For the first seven years of her career, she had a front desk position and was also a chairside dental assistant. Janice has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 1982. She has been a member of this office staff since 2001.
Jessica Folan – Dental Assistant
Jessica began her career in dentistry in 2021 as a valuable member of our office staff. Like Dr. Barone, she understands the importance of comprehensive care in both dental and medical fields. Previously, she spent 23 years as a Registered Pharmacist, gaining extensive experience in medicine. Previously, she spent 23 years as a Registered Pharmacist.
Carolyn Pluta – Treatment Coordinator
Carolyn began her career in the dental field in 1999. She started as a chairside dental assistant and has worked in a front desk position for over 20 years. Carolyn has been a member of our friendly and professional team since 2022, ensuring every patient’s personalized needs are met.
